Note: This APP currently does NOT have an English version, but this guide will provide you with some info about setup and linking your bank account.

When you go to most shops and buy something, the cashier will usually ask you if you have a membership with them or a Zǎi Jù, which is not a familiar concept in most countries. This guide can help you set up a Zǎi Jù, aka E Invoice.

In the old days (or without this APP), you'd have to check the winning numbers when they were announced, keep all of your receipts for that 3 month period of time, and go through them one by one to check and see if you had won anything. This APP (and a couple of others like it) will check to see if you won anything automatically and can transfer your winnings directly to your bank account.

This guide will help you:

• download one of the more user friendly invoice storage APPs

• sign up for your very own barcode number (that you can have clerks scan when asked for your Zǎi Jù)

• link your bank account for automatic deposits when you win the invoice lottery

I'll make other guides about other functions of the APP (you can see the very last step for links).

If you are completely unfamiliar with the Taiwan Invoice Lottery system, do a Google search or look at the usual forums to find more info about it.

Installation

There are many APPs you can install, including the official Ministry of Finance 財政部 cái zhèng bù

I used that official one for the past year, but I prefer to use this one (see image below) because it seems to be a bit more user friendly.

You can install via the links redirects below or just copy and paste 發票載具 in your app store search bar.

Open the APP

After downloading open the app and you'll see the screen below (scroll down to see screenshot).

For first timers, you'll wanna click the bottom white button which says

新註冊載具 xīn zhù cè Zǎi Jù

This means new registration for Zǎi Jù.

Don't forget to hit the checkbox below that says that you've read the terms and conditions.

After clicking on that, you'll be redirected to the 財政部 cái zhèng bù (Ministry of Finance) official page where you enter your specific registration details.

This is running within the other APP, which acts as a browser (think of how you click on a link in your email APP or Facebook APP that takes you to another website).

You can switch to English here, but only here. When you finish all these steps on their page, there won't be any more English, but don't worry, I'll give you a basic rundown with translations of the important stuff.

Scroll to the bottom and click "agree".

On the next screen, you'll enter your Taiwanese mobile number, your email, and think of a password that meets the requirements they have and enter it in twice (see screenshot below).

NOTE: Make sure you remember this password, because you are going to use that to login later along with your phone number.

After that, click "obtain a one-time password".

Complete the OTP (one time password) which was sent to you via text message and fill in your captcha.

Check "I have read it" and click "signup".

Then you'll receive the success message below and you click "login" and you will be redirected back to the APP user interface.

In Step 5, I mentioned that you should remember your password, because you'll be using that and your phone number to log in.

The top input is for

手機號碼 shǒu jī hào mǎ

which means mobile number.

The one beneath it is for

載具密碼（財政部驗證碼）zǎi jù mì mǎ (cái zhèng bù yàn zhèng mǎ)

which means E invoice password (Ministry of Finance verification code).

If you want to receive invoice winning notifications or other promotional messages, check the box at the bottom

我想接收發票中獎提醒或其他好康訊息 Wǒ xiǎng jiēshōu fāpiào zhòngjiǎng tíxǐng huò qítā hǎokāng xùnxī

The screenshot below displays the homepage. To get to the page to link your bank, first click the bottom right person icon where it says 個人 gè rén

The you are directed here to verify your identity.

Fill in the first field with you ARC number (national id card if you are a local or Taiwanese passport holder).

身分證字號 / 居留證號碼

shēn fèn zhèng zì hào / jū liú zhèng hào mǎ

In the field below that, fill in the captcha

圓形驗證碼

yuán xíng yàn zhèng mǎ

Then click 驗證 at the bottom.

Fill out the form (screenshot below).

I chose the ShinKong bank code as an example, 103 at the top.

• So, pick your bank code from the drop-down. If you need to find it, you can see this link or Google it

• The second input says

金融帳戶 jīnróng zhànghù

Which means your bank account number.

• The third input says

帳戶姓名 zhànghù xìngmíng

Which means account name (enter your name)

• The fourth input says

身分證字號 shēn fèn zhèng zì hào

Which means ID number (you can enter your ARC here too)

• The fifth is called a radio input and is labeled 身分別 shēn fèn bié and the two options are

本國人 běn guó rén

and

外籍人士 waì jí rén shi

Which means local and foreign national respectively

• The sixth input says

聯絡電話號碼 lián luò diàn huà hào ma

Which means contact telephone number (mobile number)

Check the final box that says you've read the service agreement. I'm not gonna translate all that for ya 😆

Use Google if you are really interested in that.

Then click 儲存設定
