Actions

Open your Easy Wallet App and click on the person icon. You'll see your balance top left (mine says $9 in the screenshot below).

Then you click the dollar symbol below it where it says 儲值 chǔ zhí, which means recharge.

At the bottom you can choose either

• 銀行帳戶 yín háng zhàng hù - which is the first one that means bank account

  or

• 虛擬帳戶 xū nǐ zhàng hù - which is the second one and means virtual account.

We are gonna choose bank account for this to link our account, and then later you'll follow this same first step to charge your account.

The second one that says "virtual account" is for ATM or bank transfers. You can see this guide to load your account that way

You'll get this message here if you haven't yet linked your bank account. You just click on the right of the pop-up box where it says 立即綁定 lì jí bǎng dìng, which means link now.

You'll get to this page after that (see below). In this guide we are gonna click on the first option: 新增銀行帳戶 xīn zēng yín háng zhàng hù, which is "add new bank account".

The other option is to add a credit card.

Choose your bank code. If you don't know, you can go to your bank and ask or Google/ ask ChatGPT.

Then you switch on 設定為預付款工具 shè dìng wéi yù fù kuǎn gōng jù, which means "set as a prepayment tool" and check the circle at the bottom which says you've read all the user agreement stuff.

Then click next step (下一步 xià yī bù) at the bottom.

Here you'll enter your banking details:

• 銀行帳戶名稱 yín háng zhàng hù míng chēng - name as it appears on your ARC or passport (Chinese name if that's applicable)

• 銀行帳號 yín háng zhàng hào - bank account number

• 出生年月日 chū shēng nián yuè rì - bithdate year, month, day

• 驗證碼 yàn zhèng mǎ - captcha verification code (on the right)

After entering that stuff, click the circle checkbox thingy at the bottom that basically says you agree to the terms of use.

Then click 下一步 xià yī bù.

Note: I should mention that this initially did NOT work for me and gave me an error message. If this happens to you due to some kind of info mismatch, it will probably give you a number to use to call your bank. The automated system is complicated, so I recommend you go to the bank and show them this message to resolve the issue. That's what I did!

Follow Up Actions

If your bank got successfully linked, you can now go back to the main screen and follow step 1 to get to the screen below in order to charge your Easy Wallet account.

When you get to the screen below, you click the amount you want to charge ($500, $1000, or $10,000) and then click 立即儲值 lì jí chǔ zhí to charge now.

Follow Up Actions

After that you should be redirected to your homepage automatically where you can go back to "my account" by clicking on the person icon.

There you should be able to see your new balance.

Now you should be ready to actually use your Easy Wallet.
